ABOUT JULIEJulie Li is eleven years old and loves musical theatre. She has performed in many shows at the Children’s Musical Theatre in San Jose and recently played Marta in the Sunnyvale Community Theater’s rendition of the Sound of Music. In her free time, she likes to take singing, dancing, and piano classes.

PHILOSOPHYWhat Julie loves most about musical theatre is its ability to captivate the audience through lively songs and dances. She believes that it’s not just the performance itself that makes theater unique, but also the relationship between the performers and the audience. Unlike television, performers feed off the energy of the crowd, encouraged by their positive reactions and creating a shared emotional journey. For Julie, this mutual appreciation makes live theater an irreplaceable art form.
